A heart of compassion lies beneath a countenance of melancholy, this Keeper is nought but one of the devoted of Sephirot. Soft flesh burns with light scars of tempering just below her skin, awaiting for an opportunity to pull her under the throes.Yet, her mere existence and survival only confirms that her Clan in Meracydia thrives in the abundant, dangerous forests towards the South of the continent. Despite her stature, the Keeper appears to be well versed in not only the holy rites of her Primal, but of hunting, survival and most importantly the ancient rituals of summoning amongst her people.

« PERSONALITY »
Having travelled from her homeland of Meracydia to seek a cure for her clan, the Maalhi, Pavi is painted with a consistent curiosity of Eorzea and beyond. Having only heard of the tales passed from the visiting traders from other lands & the words passed down from Witch Doctors, this other land seems remarkably different from her own homeland.Given her lack of interaction outside of the Maalhi, this Keeper tends to be quite mistrusting and unconvinced of other's motivations. Much of her own motivations are primarily drawn by Sephirot and his teachings. Despite this, Pavi does not lack compassion and mercy, living her life according to the Liturgy of the Fiend.

« ANTHROPOLOGY »
Little is known of the Maalhi outside of Meracydia, seldom did they trade with the visitors from Eorzea. Perhaps their secrets of worshipping the Primal Sephirot are of interest. Many from Meracydia have heard of the Maalhi, though are untrusting of their motivations.« AETHER »
The Maalhi themselves seem have been victims of a form of tempering, rendering their bodies useless as they meld into the forests around them. It's possible that those versed in the art of aether or Primals know of this affliction, given that Pavi tends to radiate earth-aspected aether. Not all is as it seems, however.« SUMMONING »
Pavi is known to practice the ancient art of summoning, albeit the art of honing her practice varied somewhat to those in Eorzea. Those with an interest in aetheric techniques may find it compelling, those from Meracydia may have met her upon Pilgrimage or heard of such trials.

While usually bereft of emotion, Pavi oft fines her attention waning even in the midst of conversation or bustling areas. Perhaps her lack of sudden movement and strange demeanour is interesting, if not at the very least somewhat disturbing.« RUIN DIVER »
Through the 'consumption' of magical artefacts Pavi manages to stave succumbing to tempering herself. She's in constant need of magical items, whether it be through purchase or assisting in their retrieval.« HUNTRESS »
The Maalhi are known as fearsome fishers, Pavi doesn't stray away from the well-practiced hunting techniques of her people. An ample fisher herself, she's always on the lookout for the next big catch whether it be through hand-gathering, netting or other techniques.

♢ The Maalhi are a Matriarchal arboreal clan that did not follow their kin to Eorzea during the Age of Endless Frost, instead thriving within the verdant forests towards the South of Meracydia. With their lives devoted to Sephirot, they find most of their daily activities involve living at peace with nature and preserving that which was created by their chosen Eikon.♢ While nocturnal, the Maalhi believe the right of the sun is that of Sephirot's, therefore avoid taking it for themselves in order for their eikon and his creations to thrive.♢ The Head Priest(ess) of the Maalhi (due to be Pavi) must undergo a pilgrimage that sees them honing the art of summoning.♢ Given the clan's close relation to the war with the Allagan's they remain extremely prejudiced against technology, and by extension the Garlean Empire.

♢ A large portion of the Maalhi diet is based off their gathering prowess (predomintantly fresh produce), with special occassions marked with platters of fresh fish.
